The Immortobot Pawl Block makes changing the pawl simple and easy. The video below shows you how.
The block comes with an undersized 1/16" pin for driving the pin out of the arm. You can hold it with pliers and drive it with a hammer. Your standard punches are too long, and will bend under the stress of driving the pin.
You will want a 1/16" punch to push the pin back into position and help drive it home when the new pawl is installed. Lowes and Home Depot both carry them for about $5.
